European Kitchen Remodel -- West Oak Hill, Austin TX 78735
This West Oak Hill kitchen remodel was designed for homeowners originally from Italy who wanted a clean, contemporary space that reflected true European style. After struggling to find a contractor in Austin who understood the look and level of detail they were after, they found Owner Bert Bell. From the start, planning focused on simplicity, function, and precision -- the hallmarks of modern European design. Full scope, schedule, and selections were locked in before demo began.
The existing wall and peninsula came out completely, taking the space down to the studs for a full reset. The new frameless cabinetry system features Cleaf laminate exteriors -- an Italian-manufactured surface known for its realistic wood textures and furniture-grade durability -- with melamine interiors, dovetail drawer boxes, and push-open soft-close hardware for a clean, handle-free finish. Shadow Storm granite countertops, an oversized 18x35 Access Tour tile backsplash, and black stainless KitchenAid appliances complete the palette. Hickory Ridge Tobacco wood flooring and updated recessed and under-cabinet LED lighting tie the entire space together.
The finished kitchen is intentional, efficient, and unmistakably European -- exactly what this Austin family had been searching for.
