CIRCLE C RANCH KITCHEN REMODEL

This Circle C Ranch kitchen remodel started with a boxed-in layout that didn't match the way the homeowners lived -- partial walls, a tight footprint, and sightlines that cut the space off from the rest of the home. Owner Bert Bell led the full design and construction process, centering the plan on opening the space structurally while adding custom features that brought function and character to every corner.

The biggest move was removing a major support wall and post, then adding structural beams spanning all four directions between the ceiling and second-story floor to open the space safely. A small island was replaced with a large custom-built centerpiece, and custom buffet cabinetry was added to anchor the kitchen area. Floor-to-ceiling frameless shaker cabinets in white carry a two-tone finish palette, and Shadow Storm granite countertops add depth and contrast throughout. Tuscany Hickory flooring was installed across the entire first floor, tying the kitchen seamlessly into the rest of the home.

The backsplash features a Vogue Matte Lantern Mosaic pattern behind the rangetop, and the adjacent fireplace area was fully remodeled with floor-to-ceiling vertical tile, a modern insert, and floating shelves tucked into a custom cabinet nook. The finished Circle C Ranch kitchen remodel is brighter, more open, and built for the way this family actually lives.
